Trumpeting

I play trumpet and flugel horn and work in a pretty diverse range of genres, from straight-ahead jazz to Bollywood music and from occasional classical work to performing with artists as diverse as Jarvis Cocker and Kele Le Roc. I also work as an actor-musician, in which guise I toured with the Royal Opera House/New Wolsey/Watford Palace production of Songs From A Hotel Bedroom in late 2010, as well as lots of other work over the years. For more information, see the acting page.

Pretty Small Band

I've been running my own small group called the Pretty Small Band for many years, performing jazz, swing, latin, soul and funk tunes at countless private events across the UK and beyond. Venues include Claridge's Hotel, a residency at Soho’s famous Madame JoJo’s cabaret bar and at the Eurpoean premiere of Chet Baker documentary Let's Get Lost where the band was warmly recieved by friends and colleagues of Chet Baker, including director Bruce Weber. I've not had much time to put into developing this project for a while, but we still perform at occasional weddings and corporate functions. If you're interested in hiring us, do get in touch.
