I am a skilled writer and composer.

In 2007 I wrote The Big Filling: This Time it's Pie-sonal. I also composed and performed the music, which was described as a 'toe-tapping jazz soundtrack' by The Scotsman.

This unique piece of family theatre appeared at the Underbelly during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2007, during which time it garnered universal critical acclaim, including outstanding 4-star reviews from The Scotsman newspaper and The List magazine. I am currently in the process of redeveloping this show into a longer format and taking it on tour.

I also occasionally work as an arts journalist. I have written reviews for various publications including BBC Online.

I also have an ongoing interest in Tibetan arts, which I developed into a dissertation for my Philosophy and Literature degree whilst at the University of Warwick. On the strength of this piece of work I was awarded a travel bursary to work with exiled Tibetan communities in India. This in turn resulted in a 10,000-word multimedia project, which I presented at schools and universities across the country, including Cambridge University.
